Trainer Profile

Meet Matt

Matt discovered this incredible sport of boxing at the age of 10 where he would work the heavy bag and speedball on almost a daily basis after school. Many years down the track, Matt has found that boxing was not only loads of fun, burned fat fast and developed lean muscle but could also be used to assist in overcoming stress, anxiety and depression. Matt completed his Personal Training studies in 2010 where he then went onto training friends and family along with working with his local football club Masala Tigers FC over multiple preseasons. His business, Tough Body Tough Mind, was born. Matt started working as a trainer and group boxing instructor at Goodlife Health Clubs in Camberwell over the course of 2014-16. This is where he developed a fierce reputation for holding pads. His group classes went from 22 participants in the first week to a record 37 within the second week. From here he managed to build up a healthy clientele that also included fellow trainers and staff members of the gym. He now specialises in personal and 2 on 1 training across Camberwell and surrounding areas. His primary focus is to help people in losing unwanted body fat and dealing with stress management. Many of his current clients have been training with him for multiple years.
